What did I do with my day today when I really should have been working? I spent the entire day in the sun with my good friends Ben and Tom, skateboarding. I have the bruises to show for my efforts, but I had a damn good time. My books, meanwhile, sat at home gathering dust, feeling very lonely. Maybe tomorrow….

The trouble is that you think you have time.

Return of the Mat….

Exam season is just around the corner, which means procrastination is inevitable. I shall keep this update with all of my latest efforts to avoid working, and hopefully show people how not to take a degree.

Keep your eyes peeled…

Hey girl.  Leaving before you wake up in the morning is like pulling out the USB without ejecting it properly.  I just feel so lost.

Procrastination is key

Things I did today to avoid working:

1. Slept in, even though I went to bed early yesterday to avoid working

2. Completed my Lord of the Rings Extended edition marathon, with commentary and hours worth of documentaries

3. Learnt the lyrics to several Irish folk songs in preparation for a family gathering

4. Sang Abba for a good half hour

5. Made several grilled cheese sandwiches using a George Foreman grill (as good as it sounds)

6. Went to the shop and got hailed on

7. Sat on Facebook (a universal time waster)

8. Created a blog about procrastination

9. Napped

All of which, did nothing to improve the two essays I have to write by Monday.

I didn’t want to be a painter. I wanted to be a tap dancer
